Dearest Sandy and Family,
I am very saddened to hear of Arthur's passing. Growing up in Elmira, I have fond memories of my cousin, Arthur. They bring a smile to my face as I am writing. Arthur's personality was larger than life, his sense of humor well known and his culinary creations were enjoyed by thousands of people who attended weddings (he catered my wedding in 1971), outings and assorted special celebrations!!!!!
As Director of the Corning Country Club, he was so beloved that they did not want him to retire!!! But it was time to move down south to be near some of his beloved children and grandchildren.
He lived life at full throttle and left a lasting impression on any one who met him. He physical presence will be missed but his spirit lives on in the hearts of hundreds of people.
For all the Arthur Leach Family, I hope that the sharp edges of sorrow soften with time and that smiles and laughter replace the tears in the coming months.
All my love, hugs & kisses, Carina
