Mrs. Barbara Jean Jones, 73

Barbara Jean Jones, 73, of Braselton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Williams officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday April 13, 2018.


Born on July 28, 1944 in Cleveland, Georgia Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late G.B. and Ruth Adams Turner. She was retired from Forsyth Industries where she was a seamstress.  Mrs. Jones was a member of Grace Baptist Church.


In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her first husband, James Jones; sister, Linda Stephens and grandson in law, Jody Edmonds.


Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter and son in law, Betty and David Haynes of Braselton; granddaughter, Rebecca Edmonds of Braselton; great grandson, Lane Edmonds of Braselton; brothers and sisters in law, Allen and Connie Turner, Mike and Linda Turner both of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Angela and Dwight Dyer of Eastanollee; a number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.


Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
