Mrs. Lillie R. Cagle, 97

Lillie R. Cagle, 97, of Buford passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 following and extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 14th from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on February 7, 1921 in Westminster, SC she was the daughter of the late Marion and Mary Evie Summerall Souther. She was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cagle is preceded in death by her husband, Travis Cagle; daughter, Susan Cagle DeWitt and her brother and sisters.

Mrs. Cagle is survived by her daughter and son in law, Cathy and Thomas R. Hensley of Buford; grandchildren, Marshall Tanner, Evelyn Gassaway, Christopher Jones, Amy DeWitt Broome, Heather Hensley Starr, Hillary Hensley Jones; 13 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
