            Daniel “Danny” Mosley, age 58 of Gainesville, passed away early Monday Morning, May 2, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Johnny Knight will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

            Mr. Mosley was born November 12, 1952 in Orangeburg, South Carolina to the late James W. Mosley and Mary E. Farrah Mosley.  He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his son, Michael Mosley.

            Mr. Mosley is survived by his wife, Mary “Madge” Mosley of Gainesville, sons, Jason Mosley and Brett Mosley, both of Gainesville, brother, James Mosley of Flowery Branch, grandsons, Luke Mosley of Gainesville, Colby Mosley and Mayson Mosley, both of Maysville, sister-in-law, Pauline Hicks of Pendergrass, sisters-in-laws & brothers-in-laws, Annie & Jimmie Smith of Clermont, Sheila & Danny Ballard of Murrayville, Marie & James Grier of Maysville and Jamie & Ricky Wehunt of Homer, nephews, Steve & Tony Mosley, both of Cleveland, Scott Ballard of Dahlonega, Bryan Ballard of Murrayville, Stephen Ballew of Flowery Branch, Justin Grier of Maysville, Jim Smith of Gainesville, and Chuck Wehunt of Cleveland, nieces, Kim Nash of Gainesville, Lisa Humphries of Gainesville and Rachel Hick of Pendergrass, special friends, Leroy Oliver of Gainesville.
