Mrs.
Polly Bryan Creech Sandidge age 92, of Gainesville,
passed away on Saturday, May 05, 2012 at her residence following an extended
illness.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at
a later date in Washington,
D.C. A private interment will be
held in the Memorial Gardens of First
United Methodist
Church in Gainesville, Georgia.
Mrs.
Sandidge was born on April 11, 1920 in New
York, NY to the late
Captain Fulton Hunter Creech, Sr. and Pauline Bryan Creech. She was a member of
Gainesville First United
Methodist Church
and was a homemaker. Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Roy
Preston Sandidge, Jr., son, Roy Preston Sandidge III, brother, Fulton Hunter
Creech, Jr., sisters, Kathryn Creech Havenstein Ward and Nancy Poole Creech
Bell.
Mrs. Sandidge is
survived by her daughters, Kathryn Lee Sandidge of Sandy
Springs, Georgia
and Nancy Jane Sandidge Elder of Adairsville,
Georgia, 21 nieces
and nephews, and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
