Mrs. Bernice M. Anderson, 81

            Bernice M. Anderson, age 81 of Hoschton, passed away on Tuesday Morning, May 8, 2012 at Bell-Minor Nursing Home following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  Pastor Ben Haupt will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. 

            Mrs. Anderson was born April 9, 1931 in Athens, Georgia to the late Elbert Ward and Pearly Mae Franklin Ward.  She lived most of her life in Hall County, working at Wrigley’s for over 20 years.  Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Eugene Anderson, her brother, Alvin Ward and one of her sisters, Christine Thompson.

            Mrs. Anderson is survived by her son & daughter-in-law,  Kendel & Sherry Anderson of Hoschton, grandchildren, Wendy Anderson, Derek Hughes, Renee Anderson, Susan Galendez, Bobbie Denton, Kim Byars and Shaun Anderson, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and sister, Kathryn Whitmire.
