Mr. Robert Marvin Mattox, 80

Mr. Robert M. Mattox, age 80, of Hoschton passed away, Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012 at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 2920 Landrum Education Drive, Oakwood, GA 30566, 770-503-7555, www.saintgabriels.org. Father Bill Combs will officiate.

Mr. Mattox was born November 26, 1931 to the late Dolphus & Clara Mattox. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict and worked at Sharp Cabrillo Hospital as a Family Counselor. Mr. Mattox was a member of St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church.

Survivors include wife, Eva Mattox of Hoschton; son Jason Mattox of Atlanta; brother, Mark Mattox of West Columbia, SC; and sisters, Wanda Grant of Cayce, SC, Linda Jaco of Gilbert, SC and Clara Mattox of Lexington, SC.
