Doris Dorsey Nalley, age 81, of Marietta, Georgia, died at Halcyon Hospice - Altus House in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 12, 2012. She was the daughter of Mattie Bell Sosebee Dorsey and Herschel Eugene Dorsey. Mrs. Nalley was born on October 28, 1930, in Gainesville, Georgia. She graduated from Gainesville High School and attended Brenau College where she was a member of Phi Mu sorority. In 1950, she married James Lane Nalley. She is preceded in death by Dr. Nalley and her parents. Mrs. Nalley is survived by her son James Lane Nalley, Jr., daughter Jean Vaughan Nalley, daughter-in-law Coleman Mobley Nalley, granddaughter Coleman Vaughan Nalley, and sister AlJean Dorsey Thompson. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service at 11:00 A. M. on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Alta Vista Cemetery, 521 Jones Street, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
