Mrs. Eleanor Dora Keffner Hamling, 89

            Eleanor Dora Keefner Hamling, age 89 of Gainesville, formerly of Stockbridge, Massachusetts, died peacefully in her sleep at her sons home, Friday Morning, June 8, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness.

            Memorial services to be held at a later date in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

            Mrs. Hamling was born February 26, 1923 in Great Barrington, Massachusetts to the late Benjamin Keefner and Dora Race Keefner.  She retired from Rising paper Company and was of the Protestant Faith.  Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard Hamling, Sr., and her son, Leonard Hamling, Jr.  She loved her family very, very much and will be missed by each and every one of them.

            Mrs. Hamling is survived by her two of her sons, Doug & Sybil Hamling of Gainesville, with whom she lived and Gerald Hamling of Otis, Massachusetts, 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, who loved and will miss her very much.
