Mr. Hoyt Brown, 74

Mr. Hoyt Brown, age 74, of Flowery Branch passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Paul Rhoden will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born June 23, 1937 to the late Marvin & Ida Brown of Dawsonville. He attended Auburn University and Dekalb Technical School, and was a former member of Salem Church of the Nazerene in Jasper, Alabama. Mr. Brown was also preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Brown.

Survivors include: wife, Pavon D. Brown of Flowery Branch; daughters, Debra Cross Mackel of Clarksville & Brenda Brown Oakes of Toccoa; son & daughter-in-law, Derick & Sandy Eliason of Banks County; and 3 grandchildren, Justin Cross, Katie Eliason & Kelsey Eliason.
