Mrs. Lois Elizabeth Tollison, 81

            Lois Elizabeth Tollison, age 81 of Gainesville, passed away Friday Morning, June 29, 2012 at Willow Wood Nursing Home following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Fletcher Law will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 2 – 4 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Tollison was born April 20, 1931 in Hartwell, Georgia to the late Yancey Howard Herring and Lois Vickory Herring.  She retired from Citizens Bank and was of the Baptist Faith.  Lois was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Weldon Tollison.

            Mrs. Tollison is survived by her sons, Weldon Tollison of Norcross and Jeff Tollison of Flowery Branch, granddaughters, Amanda Shankus of Bethlehem, Georgia, Ashlee Wright of Winder, Rachael Tollison of Snellville and Tori Tollison of Snellville, grandson, Lance Tollison of Lawrenceville, great-granddaughters, Olivia Shankus of Bethlehem, Georgia and McKenzie Wright of Winder and several nieces and nephews.
