Ms. Peggy Bertie Rundles, 74

            Peggy Bertie Rundles, age 74 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Mr. Barry Cape will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

            Ms. Rundles was born November 14, 1937 in Gillsville, Georgia to the late Charles Columbus Mote and Lucy Nell White Mote.  She was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center with 32 years of service as a CNA.  Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, J. W. Mote and Louie Mote, her sisters, Lucille Bryant and Margie Cagle and her son-in-law, Raymond Pittman.

            Ms. Rundles is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Eddie & Sherry Rundles of Gainesville, her daughter, Debbie Rundles Pittman of Gainesville, grandchildren, Brian Whitlow, Melissa Watkins, Christy (Johnny) Barker and Reid (Katie) Rundles, great-grandchildren, Gage Howington, Owen Barker, Charlie Rundles, Alex Watkins and Brandon Watkins, sisters, Patsy Clark of Comer, Maulene Pinson of Cumming, Jackie Mote and Denelle Whitmire, both of Gainesville, brothers, Charles Mote of Loganville and Phillip Mote of Atlanta, caregivers, Lyra Del Forrest, Emily Burnette and Betty Knight, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and faithful companion, Smokey.
