Ms. Alice Frances Orr, 85

Miss Alice Frances Orr, age 85, of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at UniHealth – Lanier following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012 from the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Union Baptist Church. The Rev. Max Orr and Rev. Brent Chatham will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Miss Orr was born January 16, 1927 to the late Phil & Christeen Grimes Orr. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and worked in the lunch room of Chestnut Mountain Elementary School. Miss Orr was also preceded in death of by her brother, Billy Orr and sister, Wylda Brown.

Survivors include: brothers & sisters-in-law, Max & Betty T. Orr of Gainesville and Gilbert & Margaret Orr of Carnesville; sisters Freita Reeves of Flowery Branch and Margaret Chatham of Blairsville; sister-in-law, Betty Jo Orr of Gainesville; and several nieces & nephews.
