Mr. David Gwayne Brookshire, 55

            David Gwayne Brookshire, age 55, of Braselton, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery.  Mr. Robbie Brookshire will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 2 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

            Mr. Brookshire was born August 16, 1956 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Doyle Williams and Betty Jean Brookshire Williams.  He was employed with Jeff Brookshire Painting as the Office Manager and was of the Baptist Faith.

            Mr. Brookshire is survived by his wife, Nada Brookshire of Braselton, daughters, Casey Welch of Clermont, Katie Hagin of Braselton and Candice Hagin of Braselton, son, Chris Brookshire of Gainesville, grandchildren, Carli Brookshire, Landen Welch and Riley Brookshire, sister, Joan Mixon of Gainesville, brothers, Jeff Brookshire of Gaineville and Robbie Brookshire of Lawrenceville.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
