Mrs. Irene E. Howard Cash, 86

            Irene E. Howard Cash, age 86 of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend David Simpson will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Cash was born September 3, 1925 in London, England to the late Mr. & Mrs. E. Howard.  She was retired from Kuppenheimer Suit Company and was a member of Lanier Christian Church.  Irene was preceded in death by her father and her husband, Jessie Cash, Jr.

            Mrs. Cash is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Diane C. & Steve Cope of Gainesville, granddaughter & her husband, Tracy & Ryan Packard of Flowery Branch, granddaughter, Jill Combs of Smyrna, Georgia, grandson, Chad Cope of Osprey, Florida, great-grandsons, Riley & Rory Packard, Davis & Parker Combs and Zach & Austin Cope, brother, Leslie Howard of London, England.
