Mr. Shem Free Rider, 22

            Shem Free Rider, age 22 of Grovetown, Georgia, formerly Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012 in Augusta, Georgia following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery.  Friends and Family will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 4 – 7 pm at the funeral home.

            Mr. Rider was born October 1, 1989 in Gainesville, Georgia to Charles Wayne Rider and Brenda Jean Ivey Rider.  He was of the Baptist Faith and was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gaynelle Rider, grandfather, M. D. Ivey, and uncles, James Lewis Rider and Henry Hoyt Rider.

            Mr. Rider is survived by his father, Charles Rider of Gainesville, mother, Brenda Rider of Atlanta, daughter, Reagan Savannah Skye Rider of Augusta, brother, Doile Dewayne Ivey of Cleveland, girlfriend, Samantha Presley of Augusta, grandfather, Tom Rider of Gainesville, grandmother, Corine Ivey of Cleveland, aunts, Rudy Nell Dispain of Clermont, Marie Tomlin of Gainesville and Agnes LaPointe of Gainesville, uncles, William Rider of Gillsville and Lynn Rider of Gainesville, uncles & aunts, Vernon & Janice Rider of Gillsville, Melvin & Linda Rider of Gainesville and Lamar & Glinda Stancil of Dahlonega and numerous other family & friends also survive.
