Mr. Richard Allen Brown, 57

            Richard Allen Brown, age 57 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Maxey Ladd will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mr. Brown was born January 4, 1953 in Gwinnett County, Georgia to the late Millard Brown and Tommy Vandeford Brown.  Richard served in the U. S. Army and was of the Baptist Faith.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Arlene Brown.

            Mr. Brown is survived by his ex-wife, Debbie Brown of Gainesville, his sons & daughters-in-laws, Joshua & Mary Tow of Flowery Branch and Joseph & Angie McCallister of Gainesville, son, Shane Brown of Monroe, daughters & sons-in-laws, Jessica & Steven Duron of Gainesville, Shaunna & Steve Arriagada of Lawrenceville, Kimberly & Thomas Miller of Lawrenceville and Marsha & Zane Smith of Temple, his sister, Joyce King of Walterboro, SC and brother, Stan Eaton of Walterboro, SC.
