Mr. James Edward Walls, 77

            James Edward Walls, age 77, of Winder, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 1, 2010 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Steve Dudley will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 2 – 5 pm at the funeral home.

            Mr. Walls was born May 20, 1932 in Farmington, Georgia to the late Early Mose Walls and Anna Sue Tolbert Walls.  He was a retired salesman, but for the past eight years he had worked at Publix as a greeter.  James was preceded in death by his wife, Ritzy Jo Lavender Walls and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. 

            Mr. Walls is survived by his daughters & sons-in-laws, Diane & Carl Hall of Statham and Lynn & Keith Simmons of Winder, his son & daughter-in-law, Thomas “Buster” & Donna Walls of Cumming, grandchildren, Chad, Ryan, Brook, Brett, Heather, Justin & Grant, step-grandchildren, Clayton & Hannah, great-grandchildren, Chase, Jordan, Jeremy, Keaton, Easton, Preslie & Rylie, his sister, Eleanor Turnbull of Bishop, Georgia.
