Mrs. Guinevere (Gwen) Cagle Chapman, 81

Guinevere (Gwen) Cagle Chapman, 81, of Lula passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11:00 am at Airline Baptist Church with Reverend Bradley Elliott and Reverend Doug Merck officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Lula.   The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 5 – 7 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Chapman was born February 27, 1929 in Lula, Georgia to the late William Jefferson Cagle and Ola Harris Cagle.  She retired from Northeast Georgia Diagnostic Center and was a member of Airline Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Chapman is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Abby & Karl Boerner of Statesboro, Georgia, and her sons & daughters-in-law, Jim & Carmen Chapman of Lula and Rick & Beverly Chapman of Lula. She is also survived by grandson, Casey Webb of Statesboro, her granddaughter, McKenzie Webb of Statesboro and her granddaughter, Caitlin Chapman of Lula.
