Mr. Willie Andrew Pressley, 73

            Willie Andrew Pressley, age 73 of Pendergrass, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 4:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park with interment to follow in White Plains Cemetery.  Reverend Melvin Pressley and Reverend Steve Whisnant will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mr. Pressley was born March 14, 1936 in Abbeville, South Carolina to the late Joe Pressley and Dora Barrett Pressley.  Willie was a retired carpenter and of the Holiness Faith.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Phillip Peck. 

            Mr. Pressley is survived by his wife, Claudine Pressley of Pendergrass, his daughters, Brenda Martin of Bremen, Georgia, Peggy Whisnant of Pendergrass, Lisa Jones of Pendergrass and Darlene Boylan of Jefferson, son, James Looney of Pendergrass, sister, Barbara Jean Pressley of Santa Barbara, California, brothers, Frank Pressley of Chester, South Carolina, B. L. Pressley of Athens, Ralph Pressley of Chester, South Carolina, Eddie Pressley of Chester, South Carolina, Melvin Pressley of Chester, South Carolina, Donald Pressley of Commerce and Roger Pressley of Nicholson, Georgia and many nieces and nephews.
