Mr. Grace "Marcelle" Watson, 88

            Grace Marcelle Watson, age 88 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Bell Minor Nursing Home following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Earl Pirkle will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 1:30 till funeral hour, 3:30 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Watson was born June 12, 1921 in Cumming, Georgia to the late Richard Patterson and Vinnie Clark Patterson.  Marcelle was retired from the Hall County Clerk’s Office as a records clerk, her husband, Grady, also retired from Hall County where he worked for many years as a Clerk of the Courts.  Marcelle was a member of Central Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Grady Watson.

            Mrs. Watson is survived by her nieces and caregivers, Rhonda Brown of Gainesville and Vicki Gee of Rome, Georgia, sister-in-law, Frances Patterson of Cumming, and several other nieces and nephews.
