Mr. Theodore "Ted" Cletus Hunt, III, 67

Theodore “Ted” Cletus Hunt, III, 67, of Austell, GA passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Dacus officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Born on November 7, 1950 in Spalding County, he was the son of Theodore Cletus Hunt, Jr and Mary Frances Rider Hunt.  Mr. Hunt was a Veteran of the United States Army, had been an auto mechanic and was a member of Trinity Fellowship.

Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife, Chris Hunt of Austell; daughter, Ginger Campbell of Austell; daughter and son in law, Jaime and Kevin Samples of Marietta; daughter and son in law, Priscilla Ray “Peanut” and Tyler Peters of Austell; daughter and son in law, Amanda Hunt and Wayne Tenney of Helifix, AL; 22 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Linda Coggins of Griffin; sister in law, Sheila Hunt of CA; mother in law, Lula Sweat of Gainesville; brother in law, Richard Sweat of Gainesville; multiple nieces and nephews and a number of other relatives.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.

So sorry for the loss of Ted, he and I had some good times working together. What a great man he was to me as a friend and co-worker, plus his family. God bless you all in this trying time. Just know he is with the Lord JESUS Christ and not suffering any longer.

Ted was a dear friend for over 45 years. Ted was the kind of friend everybody wishes they had. I was blessed to call him friend.
