Mr. Thomas A. Kolin, 81

~~Mr. Thomas Kolin, age 81, of Hoschton passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 6, 2020 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Father Jorge Carranza will officiate.  A private inurnment will be at Memorial Park South Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Kolin was born December 9, 1938 to the late George & Helen Kolin in Chicago, Illinois.  He was retired from Boy Scouts of America and upon moving to Hoschton 7 years ago, became a member at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Mr. Kolin is survived by his wife, Ellen Kolin of Hoschton; son, Michael Kolin of Elgin, Illinois; daughters, Linda Kolin of Lawrenceville, Catherine Gillespie of Moorestown, New Jersey and Suzanne Hale of Dublin, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

My dearest dad, love you with all my heart. I remember all of your funnies throughout my life. The most loving, compassionate, honest, generous, kind, smart, decent man, father, husband, friend.
