Edward Columbus Martin

Mr. Edward Columbus Martin, 64, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Born on March 11, 1960 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Monte and Daisy Martin. He was employed with Primex where he worked in the maintenance department. Mr. Martin was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Conley Martin.

Mr. Martin is survived by his daughters, Heather Martin of Gainesville, Amanda Martin of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Max Martin, Vincent Springer, Zackary Webb; sisters, Darla Smith of Detroit, MI, Sandra Peasley of AL, Miranda Taylor of AL, Tammi Marsh of AL; brothers, Ronald Martin of Flowery Branch, James Bruce of Toccoa and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
