Kathleen Lamont Obituary

The family of Kathleen M. Lamont announces that she peacefully passed away on March 5, 2024 where she resided in Gainesville, Georgia.  Kathleen was preceded in death by her brothers Keith Clark  and Noel G. Clark and most recently her nephew  Paul G. Clark of Gainesville.  She is survived by her niece in marriage LaTrelle Clark,  her grand nephew Neil G. Clark, great nieces Cora and Daisy Clark and Great Nephew Colin Clark, her grand niece Kimberley Pixley and great nephew Anthony Vuckovich of Canada.

Kathleen was born in the parrish of St. Andrew, Jamaica to Wilfred and Cora Clark. During the war years she met and married Earl E. Lamont  and moved  to Texas,  where she later went to work in the office for CSW Industrials until her retirement.  After retirement Kathleen moved to north Georgia to be near her nephew Paul and his family and enjoy the beautiful weather, trees and lush vegetation.  Kathleen enjoyed reading, outings, shopping,  tv, holidays, visits from her family, games, politics, visits from her dear friend, George and the many other friends she made so easily.   In recent years she has been more confined due to health. We gratefully acknowledge Gentiva Hospice for their care for Kathleen and the caring staff at Manor Lake.  Also the visitors and Eucharistc ministers of Prince of Peace and St. Michaels Catholic Church.
