Mrs. Shirley Ann Funderburk, age 90, of Pendergrass passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Braselton Funeral Home with a service to follow at 1:00 PM in the Braselton Chapel. Reverend Johnny Knight will be officiating.
Mrs. Funderburk was born on Tuesday, July 11, 1933, to Mr. Leslie Eugene Hare and Ms. Edna Hotop, in Sandwich, Illinois.
Mrs. Funderburk is survived her sons, Stevie Funderburk (Marie), Terry Wayne Funderburk, Tommy Lee Funderburk, (Sarah), Jerry Warren Funderburk (Sandy), & Dennis Funderburk (Debbie); her daughter Sherry Ann Brooks; her sister, Elizabeth Ingles; her 20 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, Mrs. Funderburk is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, T.W. Funderburk; her sister Norma Marquat; & son in law Ricky Brooks.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Salvation Army.
