Kind. Thoughtful. Laughter. These are the things I think of when I remember Dee. My life was so much richer having known and gone to church with Dee in my youth. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to know her and will continue to pray for Connie and Lesley. I grieve with you but also rejoice in knowing her pain is gone and as she closed her eyes on this earth, that next moment opened them in the embrace of her Savior.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Every time I saw her at Sugar Hill, she had a smile on her face and kind words for everyone. She will be greatly missed. The halls at Sugar Hill will be forever dimmed without her shining light. Rest in Peace

Our family is remembering your family during this time of sorrow & rejoicing. Because Dee loved Jesus with all of her heart & had given HIM her life, she is worshiping HIM in Heaven now. We, too, can join her in celebrating Heaven with Jesus if we know HIM as our Saviour & Lord. Trusting our Saviour to be our guide forevermore.

It was such a joy to work with Dee in the Solicitor General's office. She was honest, hardworking, extremely smart and always willing to perform any tasks in the office. I'll never forget that beautiful smile and her sweet disposition. Who could ask for anything more? Rest in Peace My Friend

She is a beautiful soul and cousin. She will be missed dearly. I sure will miss her harassment about the Gators and Noles chanting during the game. As her Lesley and myself go have fun poking. Love you fly high sweet angel… there’s a lot of angels to be with 😔

Eric and I are heartbroken over the loss of precious Dee. We both have so many memories of her. All of them are joyful. She will be missed by everyone including us. The lives she touched are countless. Her love for God, her family, and her students shone through her face like a bright and shining light. The halls of Sugar Hill will never be the same. In the words of C.S. Lewis: "Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything." We will continue to pray for Mrs. Carpenter, Lesley, Dalton, and the entire family. We will all take some comfort in the fact that she is home now and free of pain.

Shocked to see Dee’s beautiful picture at the funeral home this evening. Too young, too beautiful & too kind to be taken so soon, but I suppose that God needs precious beings to be with Him in heaven, too. Sending love & prayers to your family.

You were my favorite Para at Sugar Hill. You always had a smile when I entered the room to talk about your teaching mate. I will never forget the fun we had then. My heart is weak to think that you are no longer with us but I know that God knows all. We will all remember you and what you stand for. RIP my friend.
