Mrs. Judy Gay Bartlett, age 74, of Flowery Branch passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Memorial Services will be 11:00a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022, in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. Rev. Donald McDuffie will officiate. The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bartlett was born February 7, 1948, to the late James Gravitt & Aline Watson Gravitt in Flowery Branch, GA. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Bartlett is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Will & Lourdes Bartlett of Winder; daughter, Rene Bartlett Pennington of Flowery Branch; 7 grandchildren, Mitchell King of Watkinsville, Lacey Bartlett of Covington, Bret Pennington of Flowery Branch, Dylan Bartlett of Flowery Branch , Lane Bartlett of Winder, Cassidy Bartlett of Winder , Sofia Bartlett of Winder, and 1 great-grandchild, Knox King of Watkinsville; siblings, Allen Gravitt of Charleston, South Carolina; Janice & Larry Humphrey of Oakwood and Martha Passmore of Flowery Branch; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James David Bartlett.

I remember Judy as a sweet and caring woman who had a huge heart for her family and friends. We worked together at a little well known grocery store in the middle of Flowery Branch. I was just a kid but she took me home from work many of nights that we closed together. Prayers for peace and healing with her family.

Judy was a special friend and schoolmate and a neighbor for many years.She was so kind and loving.She suffered with health issues for many years but thankfully no more suffering and will reunite with her beloved Jimmy and other loved ones.Will and Rene your mom loved you and was blessed to call you hers.Please know you are in our prayers and on our hearts. I'm so sorry for your loss. When growing up in Flowery Branch Judy and I were cousins and best friends. I have many happy memories of time spent with her and her family.
