Mother & I are so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. We thought the world of both he and your mother. God bless.
So sorry to hear about Jewel. Can’t count the number of times I visited his store over the years. Prayers for all of you.
I wish there were words to even explain. So I’ll make it as simple as this….after the 48 years on this earth I’ve learned a lot of a lot of a lot….what I wouldn’t give to go to that store with Jenna or Sheri and get a Dr Pepper, a jolly rancher, a candy bar or a push pop and a sleep over at one of those 3 houses, yes Patty included. We were the cool kids….Jewell Nix Grocery was THE SPOT!!! So much love so much family so many memories…everything that today is missing! That man was MY Me history and MY Tadmore history and I am proud!! I love you Jenna Sheri and the whole bunch!
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember going to his store as a little girl. My mom was a single mom and he would often let her charge things when times were tough at his store. He helped those in need and I am so grateful he was so good to my mom. I’m sure his family is very proud of the example he set. Gods love in action for those in need.
Sorry for your lost.As a teenager we rolled his store with toilet paper. Someone called the cops. Mr. Nix came to the store and said to the cops if their having fun.And not hurting any thing. To leave us alone it was okay. Rest in peace Mr.Nix.
