Ms. Aimee Yvette Lafakis, age 48, passed away on Friday September 29, 2023.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday October 11, 2023 in the Flower Garden at Memorial Park Braselton Chapel. Rev. Billy McKinney & Peter Lafakis will officiate A reception will follow from 3pm to 5pm in the Magnolia Room.
Ms. Aimee Welch Lafakis was born on the 15th of January 1975 to her parents Billy and Helen Burchfield Welch in Millville, New Jersey. Growing up, she attended Liberty Bible Church.
She is survived by parents, Billy & Helen Burchfield Welch; daughters, Alexis Hopper and Scarlett Adams; sisters, Angel and Cherry Welch; sister and brother-in-law, DeeAnne & Greg Wingo; 1 grandchild, London Lipscomb; cousin, Courtnia Simpkins Turner; nephews and nieces, Tim Johnson, Alyssa Wingo, Lidia Wingo, Taylor Crawford, Gabriel DeLong; and several other cousins, aunts and uncles.
Aimee is loved by so many for her genuineness, loyalty, and her love of life. Her family and friends were her whole world and she will be an inspiring presence in our lives forever.
