Alejandra Duran Obituary

Mrs. Alejandra Duran, age 43, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born to Carlos and Rebeca Duran on May 8, 1982, in Mexico City, Mexico.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 4:00 PM.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Following the funeral service, a reception will be held at 953 Lakemont Dr., Gainesville, GA 30501. 

Mrs. Duran is preceded in death by her husband, Abel Hernandez.

She is survived by her parents, Carlos and Rebeca Duran of Gainesville; grandmother, Oliva Catalan of Mexico City; sister, Sandra Hicks of Clarkesville, Tennessee; brother, Carlos Duran, Jr. of Mexico City; nieces, Daisy Duran of Gainesville, Lilly Duran of Gainesville, Daniela Duran of Commerce, Emily Hicks of Clarkesville, Tennessee; niece, Delilah Reyes of Gainesville; and great-niece, Ivy Ponce of Gainesville.

Her chosen family; Marisol, Mily and Alfredo Salazar, Hazzel and Tim Kingsbury, Phillips’ family, Jasmine Bernadae, and Aliyah Goss.

La Sra. Alejandra Duran, de 43 años, falleció el lunes 20 de abril de 2026 en Gainesville, Georgia. Nació el 8 de mayo de 1982 en la Ciudad de México, México, hija de Carlos y Rebeca Duran.
