Mrs. Ana Maria Silva Lopez, age 97, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026 in Cumming, Georgia. She was born on August 26, 1928 in Zacatecas, Mexico.

A funeral mass will be held at St. John Paul II Catholic Mission on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Father Juan Jose Teran will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, April 20, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

She is survived by her children, Silvia Serna of Cornelia, GA, Abel Cerda of Hickory, NC, Virigina Hernandez of Cumming, GA, Martin Serna of Hickory, NC, Adelaida Gaytan of Gainesville, GA, Amparo Serna of Marion, NC, Gabriel Cerda of Hickory, NC, Miguel Cerda of Hickory, GA, Herminia Serna of Hickory, NC; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
