Ann Cathleen "Cathie" Nicholson Obituary

Heaven gained a new, absolutely beautiful angel, Ann Cathleen “Cathie” Nicholson, of Talmo. An automobile accident ripped her abruptly from our lives on August 25, 2025.

Nothing can prepare you for the loss of such a cherished loved one. Cathie was the glue of our family, figuratively and literally. She held our family together in closeness and literally “super glued” some of us back together as many of us are accident prone. Needless to say her nursing background saved our lives on more than one occasion. It became such a normal occurrence for her to be the life-saving hero, she would carry an extra-large backpack of medical supplies with her everywhere she went. The other occasions where she saved our lives was simply from her unconditional love that could heal any broken heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sara Ann Lucas, and her sister, Tammy Espinoza. She is survived by her brother, Billy Prichard, her husband, Chuck Nicholson, and her three children Tyler Nicholson, Christopher Whittlesey, and Leeila Nicholson. She is also leaving behind four granddaughters and four additional bonus grandchildren.

Cathie loved her children and life more than she loved herself. She radiated with pride and the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about them was the proof of the unconditional love she had for them. Family is more important than anything. No matter what time or day it was, she always came to the rescue when called upon by family and or friends. Her friends were not just friends to her, but family. Family was not defined by blood in her eyes. She would tell us not to grieve her death but to celebrate her life and allow her eternal bright light to continue to shine. Let’s show her the same unconditional love she poured into all of us.
