Arnold Lamar Mangrum

Mr. Arnold Lamar Mangrum, age 77, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, in Gillsville, Georgia. He was born to the late Jack and Mamie Dell “Hulsey” Mangrum and raised by stepfather, Hubert Flanagan, on March 22, 1948, in Gainesville, Georgia.   

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mr. Mangrum is preceded in the death by his parents; sisters, Janice Leitgeb, and Lynn Delong.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wanda Mangrum of Gillsville, Georgia; children, Wendy and Ronald; grandchildren, Emily, Elliot; sisters, Louise Hicks (Billy) of Gainesville, Georgia, Sheila Harkins (Mickey) of Dahlonega, Georgia and Barbara Witt (Clyde) of Dahlonega, Georgia.
