It is with broken hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished Mickey McGee on December 29, 2025. Survived by and deeply mourned by his wife, Laura Katherine of 62 years, daughter, Angela Alliston and husband Jeff, son, Tod McGee and wife Tori, grandchildren: Brent Alliston and his wife Ashley, Blake Alliston, Bryce Alliston and his fiancée, Karista Smith, Alexia McGee, Rachal McGee, Braden McGee, Raina Wilson, and one great grandchild, Logan Alliston. Preceding Mickey in death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard McGee.
Mickey's love for God and for his fellow-man showed in how he lived his life and cared for others. Mickey enjoyed studying Biblical Prophecy. He enjoyed golf and fishing and teasing his best friends about lost golf balls and no fish on the hook. He loved being an Eagle Scout as well.
Mickey was loved so much by his family and others, and those his life touched, will truly miss him too!
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Drive, Gainesville, Georgia 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
