Barbara Jean (Reaves) Myers

Mrs. Barbara Myers, age 79, long-term resident of McDonough, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at The Oaks of Braselton, surrounded by her family.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Flowery Branch, GA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Memorial Park South Funeral Home. 

Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Georgia National Cemetery- Canton, GA. 

Mrs. Myers was born April 2, 1946, to the late Robert Cecil & Mary Elsie (Knott) Reaves in Talladega County, Alabama. She was member of McDonough Presbyterian Church and the Parkinson’s Foundation; she was retired from the Georgia Department of Labor where she was a Claims Supervisor.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Mark) Brooks of Johns Creek, GA; son, Jason (Robin) Chandler of Zebulon, GA; granddaughter, Alayna Brooks of Johns Creek, GA; and sister, Patricia Porter of Hoschton, GA.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew John Myers, Sr. and by her siblings Ruth, Myrtice, Joyce and Jimmy.
