Betty Marie (Hall) Peckheiser

Mrs. Betty Marie (Hall) Peckheiser, age 87, of Gainesville, Georgia, was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 26, 2025 at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church, 4675 Winder Highway, Flowery Branch, Georgia 30542. Family will assemble at the church at 10:00 am Friday prior to the service.

Mrs. Peckheiser was born January 3, 1938 in Pensacola, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Quiller Hall and Mildred (Newberry) Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Harry J. Peckheiser as well as her daughter, Donna Abrams.

Betty was a longstanding member of Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church. She was known for her strength and resilience as well as her faith and love for family and friends.

Betty is survived by her loving family, daughter, Shannon Thompson and son-in-law, Doug Thompson; granddaughter, Tricia Thurmond; great-granddaughter, Holly Thurmond; grandson, Bryan Lema and granddaughter-in-law, Chrystal Lema, great-grandson, Alex Lema; great-granddaughter, Madison Lema; great-great-granddaughter, Amelia Welborn; granddaughter, Lacy Lema and grandson-in-law, Jermaine Wilkins; great-granddaughter, Kayla Lema; and great-grandson, Jordan Lema.
