Mr. Billy Ray Elmore, age 86, of Dacula, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, at his residence surrounded by the love of his family.

Mr. Elmore was born in Ashford, Alabama on May 20, 1940, to the late George C. Elmore and Ida Marie Garner. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years, earning the rank of Sergeant.
Following his military service, Billy built a successful career in the frozen food industry. He was respected for his leadership, strong work ethic, and ability to build lasting relationships throughout his career.
Above all else, Billy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He shared 59 loving years of marriage with his wife, Peggy Ann Grantham Elmore. Together they built a life centered on love, loyalty, family, and faithfulness through every season of life.
Billy was known for his unique sense of humor, quick wit, and remarkable ability to make people laugh. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making others feel welcomed and comfortable wherever he went. Whether through a joke, a story, or simple conversation, Billy brought joy and warmth to those around him and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Billy is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Ann Elmore; his children and their spouses, Valeria and Eric Colon, James Jeffrey and Aimee Elmore, and Jennifer and Sean Chambers; his grandchildren and their spouses, Jon and Chelsea Stanley, Kaylee and Cody Nelson, April Killion, Michael and Barbara Elmore, Emma Elmore, and Abby Elmore; his bonus grandchildren, Alysa Colon and Alec Colon; and his great-grandchildren, Mason Stanley, Georgia Stanley, and Scottie Elmore and bonus great grandchild, Maverick Ashworth
Billy will be remembered for his strength, steady presence, sense of humor, dedication to his family, and the deep love he had for those closest to him. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories, stories, and moments they shared with him.
