Carl Lyle Obituary
Mr. Carl Edward Lyle, age 95, passed away peacefully in his residence on Friday, August 22, 2025 in Oakwood, Georgia. He was born to the late Clarence E. Lyle and Gevena Banks Lyle on July 24, 1930 in Gainesville, Georgia.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 11:00 to 2:00 PM.
Mr. Lyle is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary Beth Lyle; and sister, Juanita Lyle Chandler.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, JoAnn Crane Lyle of Oakwood, GA; daughters, Susan Lyle Sullivan (Mark) of Dahlonega, GA, Cathy Lyle Cone of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Dr. Miller Cone (Danielle) of Cumming, GA, Amanda Cates (Keith) of Cumming, GA, Kayley Huhl (Jason) of Canton, GA, Andrea Lucas (Bobby) of Lawrenceville, GA, and Joanna Cone of Cumming, GA; and great-grandchildren, Tenley Cates, Grayson Cates, Everett Cates, Easton Huhl, Avery Huhl, Elijah Huhl, and Lincoln Lucas.
