Carneal (Lance) Burnette

Mrs. Carneal Burnette, age 89, of Hoschton, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026 at her residence, surrounded by family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 16, 2026 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Jeff Benefield will officiate.  The family will receive friends 9:30 – 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 16, 2026 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Burnette was born November 8, 1936 to the late Thomas Stanley & Lora Pearl (Richard) Lance in Morganton, Georgia.  A member of Ivey Creek Baptist Church, she was retired from Sears & Roebuck, where she was an Office Administrator.

Mrs. Burnette is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Greg & Cathy Burnette; daughter & son-in-law, Connie & Chris Barnes; grandchildren, Josh (Ansley) Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Lauren (Julie) Burnette Koch and Brandon (Kimberly) Burnette; and great-grandchildren, Maddalyn Wilson, Kingsley Wilson, Sawyer Wilson, Harper Wilson, Beau Wilson, Lance Wilson, Leo Burnette, Lucas Burnette, Olivia Burnette, and Audyn Burnette.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Curtis Burnette.
