Carolyn Eulene (Boggus) McIntyre

Carolyn Eulene McIntyre, age 68, of Gainesville, GA went to be home with her Lord and Savior on December 17, 2025.

          Born August 5, 1957 in Gainesville, GA, to the late Ernest and Lula Bell Boggus. She is proceeded in death by her brothers, Marvin and Bobby Boggus, sister, Alzena Trigg and grandson Steven Collins.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Ronnie McIntyre of Gainesville, GA.

She was a devoted mother to her three children Angela Simmons (Justin Prance) of Mt. Airy, Georgia, Christy Smith of Hoschton, Georgia and Jason McIntyre (Dawn) of Gainesville, Georgia.

Carolyn was an adoring “Nanny” to her grandchildren Brittany Chapman of Commerce, Georgia and Isabella Worthington of Hoschton, Georgia. And to her great-grandchildren, Anna Collins, Traceson Chapman and Hattie Konechne.

She also leaves behind two siblings James Boggus (Janie) of Gainesville, GA and Juanita Dodd of Dahlonega, Georgia as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

More than anything, Carolyn loved being with her family and cooking big meals. You could not go to her house without her trying to feed you. Sometimes you would find a plate of food in front of you not really knowing exactly how it got there. She was even known to deliver her famous banana pudding to her Doctors and pies to her siblings and surrounding neighbors. Carolyn never met a stranger and had a laugh that was so contagious. Especially, when she watched her favorite movie Home Alone.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
