Charles Rutherford Guffey, Jr

Mr. Charles Rutherford Guffey, Jr., age 78, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton. He was born to the late Charles Rutherford & Eleanor Guffey on November 22, 1947 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Dale Tunnell will officiate the service. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mr. Guffey is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Carolyn Guffey.

He is survived by his son, Rusty Guffey of Gainesville; granddaughter, Ella Guffey of Gainesville; and brother, Tom Guffey of North Carolina.
