Mrs. Charline Mills Moon, age 77 of Dahlonega, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Tonia Winn will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11:00 am – 2:30 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moon was born June 26, 1945 in Cumming, Georgia to the late Jewell Mills and Lorene Martin Mills. She was retired from Joseph Markovitz Florist.
Mrs. Moon is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Moon of Dahlonega, her children, Barbara & John Payne of Gainesville, Paula & Michael Lewis of Gainesville, Angela & Herman Carlan of Clarkesville, James Terry Moon of Gainesville, Ray Anthony Moon of Sparta, Tennessee, Billy Ray Moon of Gainesville and Chris Shane Moon of Clarkesville, her 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
