Christopher Steven McPherson

On Sunday, May 14, 2023, Chris McPherson, loving son, husband and father passed away at age 51.

Chris was born on December 26, 1971 in Milton, Florida to Marc and Marianne (McPherson) McCuller.  He received his Business & Marketing degree from the University of Alabama in 1997.  He spent the last 20 years as the Chief Lending Officer at BOND Community Federal Credit Union.  On April 15, 2006, he married his best friend, Sarah Rae Pollard.  They have two wonderful children, Lauren and Reese. 

Chris had an outgoing personality, infectious smile, quick wit and a loving heart.  He always went out of his way to make people comfortable and happy.  He loved his family fiercely, and always made time for sports, activities, and vacations.  Chris was always listening to music and singing along to artists from the 70s and 80s.  Chris loved playing golf, Seinfeld, baseball, Formula 1 racing and Alabama football.

Chris is survived by his wife, Sarah (Pollard) McPherson; daughter, Lauren; son, Reese; and mother, Marianne (McPherson) McCuller. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Marc McPherson and step-father, Don McCuller.

Visitation is Saturday May 20 from 2-4pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Memorial service will be held at 4pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
