Clayton Lonzo Adams, age 22, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Athens, Georgia. He was born to Mitchell Lee Adams and Tyia Leigh Adams on November 10, 2003 in Gainesville, Georgia.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 3:00 PM. James Billy Baker will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Clayton is preceded in death by his grandfather, Karen Lonzo Adams (Mary); and uncle, Rocky Lonzo Adams.
He is survived by his mother, Tyia Adams (Nicholas Ford) of Cornelia; father, Mitchell Adams (Tonya Adams) of Gillsville; sisters, Natalie Adams (Christopher Guthrie) of Dacula; Cassie Adams of Cornelia; brothers, Eli Adams (Skyla Gee) (nephew, Silas Adams) of Lula, CJ Cheek (Rachel Burns) of Fort Wayne, IN, Oren Sims (Grace Henderson) of Gillsville, Hunter Watts of Gillsville, Caleb Wilkerson of Lula, Landon Jackson of Gainesville; girlfriend, Kendall Dove of Athens; maternal grandmother, Johnnie Anderson Pittman (Jason) of Gainesville, maternal grandfather, Tony Grant of Elkhart, IN; aunts, Misty (Rusty Samples) of Alto, Emily Anderson of Gainesville; and several cousins.
