Clyde Theron Martin

Clyde Theron Martin, 76, of Talmo, passed away on November 18, at his home surrounded by family.  He fought courageously against a lengthy illness. He enjoyed farming, raising cattle and his poultry business. He especially enjoyed getting in his tractor to “bushhog” around the farm.  He retired from OFS in Atlanta, after 53 years of service, but his true love was his farm in Talmo.  He loved watching college football on Saturdays, especially the Georgia Bulldogs.

He is survived by his siblings, David (Sandra) Martin, Douglas (Shelia) Martin, Doris Martin, and Buddy Martin. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lorene Martin, and sister-in-law, Judy Martin.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The visitation will be held 2:00 to 3:00 P.M at the funeral home.
