Danny Owen Ivey

Mr. Danny Owen Ivey, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in Gillsville, Georgia. He was born to Patricia Ivey and the late Owen Alvin Ivey on January 8, 1963 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026  at 2:00 PM. Reverend Bobby Griffin will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mr., Ivey is preceded in death by his father and his brother, Gregory Ivey.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Ivey of Gillsville; sister, Tina Whisnant (Teddy) of Lula; nephews, Aaron McHugh of Gillsville, Morgan Whisnant (Wendy) of Gillsville; great-niece, Abbigail Whisnant; and great nephew, Mason Whisnant.
