David Williams Obituary

David James Williams
December 21, 1986 – October 10, 2025

David James Williams, age 38, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on October 10, 2025.

Born on December 21, 1986, in Gainesville, GA, David was the beloved son of David Lester Williams and the late Nora Jane Campbell Williams. He was preceded in death by his mother, whose memory he carried close at heart.

David’s proudest role in life was being the devoted father to his cherished daughter, Aurora Clara-Jane Williams. To David, fatherhood was not just a title—it was his greatest joy, his most treasured accomplishment, and the source of countless adventures and laughter. He poured his heart into every moment with Aurora, creating memories that will live on in her spirit and smile.

David is survived by his treasured daughter, Aurora Clara-Jane Williams, loving father, David Lester Williams; his sister Edith “Eydie” Williams and his sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie & Brent Loggins; nieces and nephews: Tyler (Madison) Hulsey, Brooke (Dalton) Webb, Beth (Jose) Hernandez, Skye Loggins, and Flint Loggins. He also leaves behind five great-nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss his warmth, humor, and spirit.

David attended Chestatee High School where he was a state champion wrestler and a gifted drummer in the CHS band. His talents were many—he was naturally intellectual, mechanically inclined, and endlessly curious. He found joy and purpose working on the lake, specializing in boat dock construction, and dreamed of one day launching his own dock company.

David had a rare gift for humor. Making people laugh was his superpower, and he wielded it with wit and impeccable timing. Whether through a clever joke, a spontaneous story, or a simple smile, David lifted spirits and brought light to those around him.

He will be remembered for his fierce love for his daughter, his boundless energy, and the way he made everyone feel like family. His legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired and the daughter he adored.

A private service will be held at a later date.
