Denise Ann Simpson

Denise Ann Simpson, 62, of Dacula, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 15th 2026, with her husband Paul at her bedside. 

Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday April 30th, from 4-7:30 PM at Memorial Park South Funeral Home. A service celebrating Denise’s life will be at 11:00 AM, on Friday May 1st, at Christ Lutheran Church in Oakwood, GA. 

Denise was born in Detroit, MI on July 2nd, 1963. She attended High School in Howell, MI, where she earned acclaim in A Cappella Choir. She Graduated with honors in 1981.  Later she moved to Georgia and began a career with an Environmental Restoration Company, where her skill and dedication propelled her into a prominent position. 

Her greatest joy came with the birth of her son, Richard Joseph Simpson in 2006. Her other passions included gardening, gourmet cooking, classic movies, music, and spending time with her 4 grandsons. 

Denise is survived by her husband Paul Egan, her son Ricky, brothers Rick (Janet), Tommy, and Steve (Heather), niece Stephanie, and her 4 grandsons - who affectionately called her “Gigi”.
