Denver J Cagle

Mr. Denver J. Cagle, age 76, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, in Maysville, Georgia. He was born to the late Virgil & Wilma Cagle on November 19, 1949 in Gainesville, Georgia.

Denver was a man of Baptist faith and a proud retiree of Jackson EMC. He spent his life appreciating the finer details of the world—whether it was the complex inner workings of machinery, the rich stories of history, or the steady rhythm of a Johnny Cash song. He lived a life of dedicated service, honest labor, and profound faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Cagle is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Vance Joel Cagle; and wife, Diane Cagle.

He is survived by his stepsons, Michael and Raelynn Lail and family, Steven and Amanda Lail and family; sister-in-law, Mary Cagle; nephew, Kenneth Cagle and Pam Cagle & family; great nieces/nephews, Mary-Olivia and Robert Williams and family, Jericho and Rachael Marlow, Raven & Devin Kinsey-Fisher, and extended family.  

 A private service will be held and announced by the family at a later date.
